Life’s Not Easy, But God Is Good!

Daily Truth

Anyone who wants tidy faith you can put in a box and wrap up with a bow won’t find it following Jesus. It’s the narrow path. The radical way. The life-transforming way of the Savior. One moment we’re okay, and the next, we misstep or stumble. And that’s okay. That’s why we need community, honesty, safety within godly relationships, and grace for ourselves, for it’s what God has poured out on us. Humbly and prayerfully meditate on this passage until it seeps into your soul:

Isaiah 53:4–5 NLT ~ Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
