Today’s Blessing

May you determine to trust God no matter what. Regardless of outcomes, obstacles, and outcries, may the peace of God be a constant presence in your life. May fresh hope fill your soul because your mind is steadfast, and you trust in the Name of the Lord. As the old hymn says, There is a place of quiet rest, near to the heart of God.* May the nearness of God be your greatest treasure and your highest aim. Determine to shift your weight a little more firmly onto the promises of God. Determine to trust God with every detour, delay, and distraction. Offer every moment to Him and receive His grace and mercy for every moment of every hour. There's no substitute for the presence of God, no substitute for the power of God. Nothing on earth compares. You can trust Him.
