Worthwhile Waiting

You just wait. Words we so often hear from someone predicting doom; someone with an undealt-with pain filter. But for the Christ follower, those three words should inspire hope. You. Just. Wait. God will come through for you! He will keep His word to you. There IS an end date to your suffering. A time of restoration is on its way. You just wait. Jesus will defend, validate and vindicate you because you belong to Him. He will defeat your enemy, remove your obstacles, and deal with your critics. He will answer your prayers, heal your heart, and redeem every aspect of your story. You just wait. Why? Because He works for those who wait on Him. He blesses those who wait on Him. And He lifts up to new heights those who are willing to wait on Him. In every way, He’s worth the wait. So, you just wait.

Isaiah 64:3-4 (NLT) ~ When you came down long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations. And oh, how the mountains quaked! For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!
