Take A Humble Posture

Daily Truth:

We approach our battles in the spirit opposite of what we’re seeing in the world right now. We go low. The degree to which we allow God to deliver us from our pride, striving, self-justification, and self-sufficiency will be the degree to which we walk in Christ’s all-sufficient empowering grace. Pride gives the devil an open-door policy in our lives. Humility shuts the door in his face. God gives grace to the humble, He draws near to the humble, and He fiercely defends those who humbly fear Him. 

James 4:6 NIV ~ But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud
    but shows favor to the humble.”
