We Can Decide

Daily Blessing

Someone once said that God gives His best to those who leave the choice up to Him. Yet, God always entrusts us with the power to choose. We can choose to be grateful or grumpy, hopeful, or hopeless. We can choose instant gratification today or God's best for us tomorrow. We decide whether to walk by faith or by sight, to embrace an eternal perspective or an earthbound one. When you look up to the night sky and consider the One who put the stars in their place, may you remember how for you God is. May His love, His power, and His good intentions toward you seep down into your bones, so much so, that you're willing to offer your whole self to Him; to trust Him with your life, your heart, your hurts, and your dreams. He works for those who wait for Him. He's up to something good, and He's eternally kind to those who choose to trust Him.

Psalm 27:13-14 (NLT) ~ Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
