A Prayer

Daily Blessing

Father in Heaven, work wonders in our day! Transform me from the inside out. Forgive me for coddling my fears more than I cling to Your promises. I want to live boldly and courageously for you! Fill me afresh with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Ignite my faith and awaken my passion for Your purposes. Take away my desire for lesser things so that my heart beats in rhythm with Yours. Open my eyes to see the wonders of Your love and open my ears to hear the thunder in Your voice. I want to live and breathe as one who is saved, spoken for, called, and appointed for such a time as this. Help me to let peace rule and reign in my heart. Show me how to find rest in the eye of the storm. Teach me how to stand on Your promises. And give me faith to believe You for miracles. May my life-in every way-reflect Your very precious heart for the world. My eyes are on You, Lord. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:15-22 NLT ~ See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. Do not scoff at prophecies, but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.
