Ready, Set, Rest

Daily Blessing

May you sense right here, right now that heaven is close and Jesus is near. May you rest tonight knowing that though the elements rage all around us, God is very much in control. May you find peace in the storm. May you find rest in the shadow of His wing. Don't carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, let Jesus carry you. He'll assign a yoke that fits you perfectly. He'll give you grace to do your life one step at a time. Yours isn't to worry about tomorrow. Yours is to worship Him today. He's been good. He is good. And He'll be good again. When it's all said and done, you'll be glad you trusted Him. Embrace childlike faith and a heart-at-rest kind of weekend. Don’t forget to laugh. Enjoy the ones you love. Be kind to everyone you meet. Believe that God is up to something good.

Mark 4:39-40 (NLT) ~ When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
