Rest In God Today

 Today’s Blessing

May your soul find rest in God alone. He is your Shelter, your strong Tower, and your mighty Defender. Picture yourself turning away from the storm-tossed waves and turning toward the heart of God. When you make the Lord your refuge, He sets you in a high place, out of reach from your enemy. He assigns angels to protect you wherever you go. His Holy Spirit within you reminds you of truths you need to embrace. He cautions you before you take steps you ought not take. And He comforts you with peace when your mind steadfastly trusts in Him. There’s rest in God, no matter the season. May your precious heart lay hold of it today.

Psalm 91:9-11 (NLT) ~ If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.
