A Prayer

Today’s Prayer

Father in heaven, I can be such an earthbound traveler at times. I’m so aware of my default settings when it comes to sin, selfishness, and other people’s faults. Forgive me, Lord. Transform me, Father. Make me into the person You always dreamed I could be. Open my spiritual eyes to the reality of Your kingdom. Give me a heart to discern truth from lie, right from wrong, and love from hate. Remove my taste for lesser things that I might be focused solely on Your coming kingdom. This earth will soon pass away. I want You to find me ready, faithful, and grateful. I love You, Lord. Amen.
