Finally - something that works!
I purchased this book several months ago, and unlike others, I have returned to it's pages over and over. It's packed with practical suggestions, provocative ideas and positive encouragement! It encourages you to think past trying to band-aid the symptoms of an out of balance life and address the root causes. Highly recommend it!!

Superb advice from a woman who's been there
Susie's book has been a God-send, literally. Every time I picked it up God used it to remind me of His purposes for me, that I can rest in this busy season knowing that it's not forever, and that He WILL give me the strength I need to face the challenges ahead of me. I've struggled with fatigue like she described, and I've struggled with finding time for God while my boys are small (like she described!)--and each chapter had something in it that I underlined, copied in my journal, etc. So many women who can relate to life being out of balance....thanks to Susie for her honesty, dedication to the Lord, and her example of waiting on God's timing.

Life changing!
A friend and I did two lessons per week together this summer. We loved everything about Susie Larson's study. It kept us challenged and motivated. I've bought 2 more copies to give away.

I really loved this book. . .
Because I believe that this message is one that we need, as woman, to hear. Life gets so busy, so out of whack, and this is not only encouraging, it is truthful and offers real help for women seeking balance in every aspect of their life.

Real Change
I have enjoyed this book and have not only read it from cover to cover but am going through it a second time and doing the study time at the end of each chapter. It has been even richer by adding this segment and I would personally recommend doing this.
What I have loved about this book is that the author takes you right where you are at -and graciously challenges you to a deeper level both physically and spiritually in life where I believe real change happens. There are so many deep truths in this book and it will at times make you stop right where you are at and take time to soak and ponder what's been shared. Larson's personal stories also add the realness that helps you to relate and share God's truth and love for you at a personal level. It will bring forgiveness in areas of your life and encourage you to start new.
This has been a real instrument of change for me and I know you'll not only enjoy it but you'll want to share it.

A truly healthy balance
This book has so many practical and easy to use sections. For example, "Try This" lists give such applicable ideas. I heard Susie speak on this topic of spiritual and physical balance and could not wait for the book to come out. It was worth the wait. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking to find a healthy spiritual and physical balance in their life.

A balanced point of view
Susie Larson's new book came at just the right time. As one who struggles with doing too much, I found "Balance that Works" a useful tool in getting a handle on my chaos of life. So many books like this require the reader to follow complicated rules, bringing even more demands. Larson's book offered reasonable suggestions that help create a balanced outlook on both the spiritual and the physical. From hearing God's voice to embarking on a healthy lifestyle, Larson's book maps a plan that anyone can work with. A must-have for those seeking balance in an unbalanced world.
